Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten Registration for the 2024-25 School Year has opened!

Ashburnham Westminster Regional School District serves the towns of Ashburnham and Westminster Massachusetts. The Kindergarten programs are located at the following schools:

John R. Briggs Elementary School - Grades PK - 5, Ashburnham
Meetinghouse School - Grades PK - 1, Westminster

** All registration information and accompanying documentation MUST be received before your child may attend orientation and start school. **

** If your kindergarten eligible child is CURRENTLY attending AWRSD's Learning Tree Preschool, you do NOT need to register them for Kindergarten. **

Kindergarten Registration Procedure

Determine which school your student will attend based on the above information.
Gather/complete the required information indicated below (these documents will be uploaded to the registration portal):
- Proof of Residency Form
- Student Emergency and Health Record
- Home Language Survey
- Request for Student Records
- Early Childhood Education Survey (Kindergarten Only)
- Birth Certificate
- Current immunizations and a recent physical (within 13 months)
- Copy of custody/legal documentation as it relates to the student (if applicable). Without documentation, the school cannot withhold any school related information
- Copy of student's most recent IEP/504 (if applicable)
Complete/upload registration paperwork in Registration Portal.

Additional Information

If you do not have access to complete the registration materials online, you can submit them in person at Central Office (11 Oakmont Drive, Ashburnham, MA). Please make an appointment by calling 978-827-1434.
A student may be enrolled by a parent, foster parent, caseworker or court-appointed legal guardian..
