Enrollment
Ashburnham Westminster Regional School District serves the towns of Ashburnham and Westminster Massachusetts. These schools serve the following grades / towns:
- Oakmont Regional High School - Grades 9 - 12+, Ashburnham and Westminster
- Overlook Middle School - Grades 6 - 8, Ashburnham and Westminster
- John R. Briggs Elementary School - Grades PK - 5, Ashburnham
- Westminster Elementary School - Grades 2 - 5, Westminster
- Meetinghouse School - Grades PK - 1, Westminster
Enrollment Procedure
- Determine which school your student will attend based on the above information.
- Gather/complete the required information indicated below (these documents will be uploaded to the registration portal):
- Proof of Residency Form
- Student Emergency and Health Record
- Home Language Survey
- Request for Student Records
- Early Childhood Education Survey (Kindergarten Only)
- Birth Certificate
- Current immunizations and a recent physical (within 13 months)
- Copy of custody/legal documentation as it relates to the student (if applicable). Without documentation, the school cannot withhold any school related information
- Copy of student's most recent IEP/504 (if applicable)
- Complete/upload registration paperwork in Registration Portal.
- Contact the Central Office (978-827-1434 or [email protected]) if you have questions on how to register your student.
Additional Information
- If you do not have access to complete the registration materials online, you can submit them in person at Central Office (11 Oakmont Drive, Ashburnham, MA). Please make an appointment by calling 978-827-1434.
- Students in grades 6 - 12 may need to meet with a guidance counselor prior to starting school in order to select appropriate courses.
- A student may be enrolled by a parent, foster parent, caseworker or court-appointed legal guardian.
- For families relocating to Ashburnham or Westminster, enrollment is ongoing and there is no deadline to enroll your student.
All registration information and accompanying documentation MUST be received before your child may start school.
