Thomas Anderson Collection

The collection of books, audio, and visual materials celebrates the life and work of Mr. Thomas Anderson, Oakmont Librarian from 1996 to 2011.

The collection has two aims: first, to serve as a core collection of books for the library, including those recognized as the Great Books; and second, to inspire student inquiry and learning through books aligned with Mr. Anderson's own ideas and scholarship.

Mr. Anderson established the original collection, which continues to grow based on the recommendations of other teachers and students.  Active use of this collection by students and faculty allows Mr. Anderson's work at Oakmont to endure.
