Dear J.R.B. Families,
First of all, we hope you had an enjoyable long Labor Day weekend. Extra time that we have with our families should always be cherished. The first few days went off without too many errors, so that is always great to report. Hopefully you are hearing similar reports at home. As always, there will be a few hiccups, so please hang tight as we try to solve any issues that arise.
As mentioned in previous newsletters, please make sure to review the attachments regarding Ready, Set, GLOW! This year’s event will take place on September 28th from 6:30- 8:00 p.m. If you are not familiar with the event, it is a chance to be active as a school community outside of school house, all while glowing!
Next, Friday we will be celebrating “International Dot Day” at school. Students are invited to wear or decorate their outfits with polka dots in a celebration of creativity, courage and collaboration. Students will also have designed and displayed their own “dot” at school as they begin to make their mark on this school year.
We are happy to provide a bit more detail about our upcoming Curriculum Night. The parent/guardian only event will take place from 6:30- 8:00 p.m. If you need childcare, a movie and coloring will be taking place in the cafeteria. This year we will feature three 30-minute ‘sessions’ to allow parents/guardians with students in different grade levels the chance to hear about each child’s class. Please look over the attached schedule. If you have any questions please reach out the administrative team.
