If you weren't at Overlook Middle School for the 2007 Young Children's Festival, you missed a great event for children and their caregivers!  Those who were there enjoyed activities provided by over 40 exhibitors as well as dance exhibitions and live animals from the Heiffer Project.  In addition, Blinkee the Clown and Jack the Juggler kept everyone entertained.

Self-Esteem Workshops

Child Care Resources is offering a 4-part series on Self Esteem where you will learn to use your knowledge about child development to build self-esteem in children.  Each of the 4 workshops includes a lecture, discussion, brainstorming, individual and/or group activities, handouts and bibliographies.

The series will be held at Mount Wachusett Community College from 6:30-9 PM on September 19, 26 and October 3 and 10.  The total cost is $85, which includes 10 EEC contact hours and 1.0 CEU (pending approval).
