What is the Community Partnership for Children?
It is a program funded by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education
and Care
to help improve the quality of preschool age childcare (2.9-5 years)
and make it more affordable for working parents. The Department of
Education is committed to the idea that children will benefit from
early education in quality programs.
Who is eligible for this program?
Any working parent living in Ashburnham or Westminster. Families
must meet income guidelines. Children must be age 2.9-up to 5 years.
Is this a program only for single parents or low income
families?
Along with assisting low income families and single parents, this
program is unique in that it assists average working families
struggling to pay the high cost of childcare.
Are all childcare programs eligible to participate?
No, only those programs that are contracted with the
Ashburnham-Westminster Community Partnership for Children and have
begun steps toward or have achieved accreditation.
