MA Virtual Catalog Gateway -- provides a single, searchable catalog of materials owned by participating academic and public libraries in Massachusetts. Library patrons in good standing may use the Virtual Catalog to request items that are unavailable through their own library network or institution.

Museums -- Many, many museums around the world have developed wonderful virtual tours.  All have special exhibits which are changed on a regular basis, so revisit often.  (See also Art Resources on the Web) A selection:
The Exploratorium -- the museum of science, art and human perception in San Francisco, California.
EXPO -- a world wide web exhibit organization.
Franklin Institute Science Museum -- Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Guggenheim Museums-- links to the Guggenheim Museums around the world.
Hands-on Science Centers Worldwide -- pointers to public museums with a strong emphasis on interactive science education.
Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum -- an extraordinary small art museum in Boston, Massachusetts.
J. Paul Getty Museum -- comprises seven areas of art from Greek and Roman antiquities to contemporary American and European photographs.
Louvre Museum -- the famous museum in Paris, France (web site is in English).
Metropolitan Museum of Art -- collections include more than two million works of art—several hundred thousand of which are on view at any given time—spanning more than 5,000 years of world culture, from prehistory to the present.  In New York City.
Museum of Fine Arts, Boston -- discover some of the great works of art through an online Museum tour.
Museum of Science, Boston -- features a revolving schedule of Imax films, temporary exhibitions and planetarium shows. Includes a visitor's guide, membership details, and more.
National Air & Space Museum -- the Smithsonian Institution's National Air and Space Museum (NASM) maintains the largest collection of historic air and spacecraft in the world.
National Museum of American Art -- painting, sculpture, graphics, folk art and photography, 18th-century to present.
The Smithsonian Institution -- composed of sixteen museums and galleries and the National Zoo and numerous research facilities in the United States and abroad.
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum -- America's national institution for the documentation, study, and interpretation of Holocaust history, also serves as this country's memorial to the millions of people murdered during the Holocaust.
