Oakmont Semester 1 Parent Conferences

In an effort to foster greater communication between parents and teachers, Oakmont Regional High School will continue this year with school-wide parent-teacher conferences at Oakmont on Thursday, October 12, 2006. Students in grades 9 through 12 will be dismissed at 11:05 A.M. on that day.

Conference request forms will be sent home on Tuesday, September 26, 2006 and parents are asked to indicate whether or not they desire a 10 minute conference – afternoon or evening – and which teachers they wish to confer with regarding their son or daughter’s progress. These forms must be returned to Oakmont by Monday, October 2, 2006, in order that conferences may be scheduled. On Wednesday, October 11, 2006, students will bring home your conference times schedule.

We encourage all parents to participate in this opportunity to interact more closely with the Oakmont staff relative to the educational progress of your students. We sincerely hope that parent interest in this year’s conferences will make the program a beneficial addition to our school year. Therefore, we encourage parents to set aside Thursday, October 12th to meet with their student’s teachers.
