We’re extremely proud of the range of courses we offer in our curriculum. These courses run the gamut from those that prepare students to be successful at the nation’s most competitive colleges and universities to those that offer direct career and life skills. Every course we offer is aligned with state or national curriculum frameworks and involves state-of-the-art teaching strategies and techniques. We urge you to consider your course choices carefully and ensure that they support your future plans, whether those plans include further study, entry into the work world, or service in the military.

When you ask an Oakmont graduate about what makes our school distinctive, he or she will tell you without hesitation that it’s our teachers and staff that set us apart. We’re proud of the academic achievements, scholarship, and dedication of our faculty members. Among our teachers we have professionals who have achieved doctorates, published journal articles, conducted important research, and displayed acclaimed works of art. Our faculty members continue to sharpen their academic skills by participating in ongoing professional development and they continually explore the latest applications of educational technology. Every Oakmont teacher is accomplished in his or her specialty, passionate about learning, and ready to go the extra mile for our students.

Our graduates and students have established a long tradition of academic excellence. Oakmont graduates have gone on to study at prestigious institutions of higher education, including Ivy League universities. Many Oakmont graduates own successful businesses throughout the country and hold important positions in the business world. Oakmont graduates also have served with distinction in our country’s Armed Forces. We are proud of the fact that every student seeking an Oakmont diploma has successfully passed the MCAS tests and we’re proud that our students continue to score above state and national averages on the SAT and Advanced Placement tests.
