High school students must complete a minimum of sixteen unit (block course) requirements to be eligible for college admission. All units counted to meet these requirements must be college preparatory courses in the following subject areas with the minimum number of courses of study as indicated:

English - 4

Mathematics - 3

Natural and Physical Sciences - 3

Social Studies - 2

Foreign language - 2

Electives - 2

Electives may be from any of the subject areas identified above or from Computer Science, the Visual and Performing Arts or Health and Fitness.
