Thanks to those of you who stopped by the cafeteria during the evening of Parent Conferences to inquire about OPTO activities or to become a member for this year.
It was requested that this year’s group work to foster more communication between Oakmont and parents, and to focus on providing volunteer assistance to Oakmont teachers and staff in any way feasible. A survey is being sent out so that teachers may let us know the kinds of support needed.
One way to maintain contact with parents is via email. If you are already a member, just give us your name and email address. If you haven’t sent in your dues yet, here’s the perfect opportunity; print out and complete the full form below and return it to the Principal’s office in an envelope marked "Oakmont PTO."
Our next meeting will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2001, in the Faculty Lounge at Oakmont. Join us at 7:00 p.m. to share your ideas and see how you can be of help.
