It has come to my attention that there is a new product on the market which may present a serious health risk to students who have had severe allergic reactions to bee stings. A Massachusetts high school student recently experienced a life-threatening allergic reaction which has been attributed to this product.
The product is: *KICKERS 80 HOUR ENERGY SPRAY*
This product is used by spraying it under the tongue, and is marketed as an "energy enhancing" supplement. However, this product contains bee pollen, which can trigger a severe allergic reaction in users who have bee sting allergies. If you (or for parents, your children) have a history of severe reaction to bee stings requiring medical treatment, you should not use this product.
