Y is for Yellow Dwarf

Yellow Dwarves are tiny, main sequence stars. For example, the Sun is a yellow dwarf. The Greeks call it “Helios” and the Romans call it “Sol”. Believe it or not, our Sun is only a medium sized star. The Earth is closest to the Sun sometime around January 2.The Earth is farthest away from the Sun around July 2.
