Winslow Homer should be in the Hall of Fame because he was considered the best painter in the U.S.A. He was born in to a family that had lived in Massachusetts for over 200 years. He was born on February 24, 1836.When he got older he became more and more interested in painting the sea. One day he moved to Maine. There he painted jungles and mountains sailors and fisher folk in there boats. Then one day he died in his studio in Maine on September 29, 1910.
