Benjamin Franklin is in the Hall of Fame of Massachusetts. He was born on January 17^th 1706 in Boston, Massachusetts. He died on April 17^th 1790. One reason he is in the Hall of Fame because he helped build the first library in the United States. Another is he discovered electricity by using a kite and key in a lighting storm.
