        Winslow Homer was born on February24, 1836 through 1910.  He was living in Massachusetts then moved to England. He moved to Maine then New York after that.  

 

Winslow painted the sea and ocean. He painted Breezing Up, Snap the whip, and The Country School. He once worked at a studio and painted battles from the Civil War to go to news papers.
