    Ben Franklin is very famous for his inventions and his whole life. An invention like the ‘’turtle’’ was an early submarine constructed by him. Once a man was trying to attach a bomb to a ship but the bomb kept falling off and the small sub had only 30 minutes of air left. He also made the lightning rod.

    It was called the ‘’Franklin rod’’. When he was young, he ran away from his home with only a few coins in his pocket. When he was found he took over his brother’s writing business and created ‘’the poor man’s almanac. Soon he became bored so he went to France. Ben caught the French’s eye. Soon he also became tired of France & wanted to see his wife, but the French forced him to stay. He was almost elected for president but he escaped from France. He finally was able to see his wife. Sadly, he died at the age of 84. He had a busy life.
