Notes from the Third Grade
Third Grade students will be examining Ashburnham artifacts from the historical society. They will be determining what they were used for and what materials were used to make them. The students will also be going to Meetinghouse Cemetery to research the early settlement of Ashburnham. The Legends culminating performance was a great success and the children enjoyed creating movement to themes such as, the water cycle, solar system, glaciers and, the life cycle of trees. The MCAS testing for third grade was completed on May 16. We will be celebrating with ice cream treats! MCAS Testing…May 15th - 26th – Gr. 3 – 5 Please be sure your child is punctual, well rested, and has had a nutritious breakfast. We are looking forward to a successful end to the MCAS testing for the 2005-2006 school year. Thanks for all of your help and support! On Placement Next Year
