District Technology Plan

“The Ashburnham-Westminster Regional School District educates our students to achieve their maximum potential and to succeed as individuals now and in the future.” –District Mission Statement

Technology continues to be an essential tool in student success and allowing students and staff to reach their maximum potential. In the Ashburnham Westminster Regional School District, technology plays a continual role in student learning, staff development and communication within the community. For the school district to fulfill its mission, it is the responsibility of the district to provide updated and consistent technology. In that respect, this document is the three year plan for technology for the Ashburnham Westminster Regional School District.

This plan was developed by the District Technology Advisory Committee, with input from the Technology Subcommittee of the School Committee, district staff and district community members. The District Technology Advisory Committee consists of district staff members who work closely with technology in the district. The primary responsibilities of this committee are as follows:

- To develop, facilitate, implement and evaluate the District Technology Plan.
- Evaluate and review district technology capital plans (both hardware and software).
- Evaluate and make recommendations regarding technology related policies and protocols.
- Advocate for technology within the district and community.
