Explore: 1) Explore Microsoft Paint: draw with the different tools. How many different ways can you make a triangle? 2) Check out portraits by some of the world's greatest artists. Practice: 1) Click here to see an example. 2) Copy and paste a picture from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone into Microsoft Paint, and use the paint tools to add a body. Don't like Harry Potter? Try a picture from The Brady Bunch instead. 3) The section of this Web site about Andy Warhol has some great ideas for using the editing tools available in graphics software to make an interesting self-portrait. Try the options under the "Image" menu to create some special effects on your picture.
