        Vickie Nims, PTA President opened the meeting with 8 members in attendance.
         Treasurer’s Report
        Treasurer's report was presented.  Motion was made to accept the Treasurer's report.  Report can also be viewed on the PTO Today website.  PTOtoday.com.   You need to log in and register to view the report.

        Playground fund currently has $579.00.  Officers have signed off to move this money into a CD.
        Access Code to view report is ISB896.
        FOB PTO account has a remaining balance of $9.00.  Motion was made and seconded to close out the FOB/PTO account.  Account remains open at this time. Officers need to sign off to close the account. 

        Secretary's Report
        The Secretary's report was presented. 
        Motion was made to accept the Secretary's report.

        OLD BUSINESS
        Fall Fundraiser
        Yankee Candle – back order items are in.  We on behalf of Yankee Candle apologize for any convenience.  The final items were shipped today and will be in within the next day or two.  Becky is finalizing numbers.

        Grade level Fundraiser
        Winners are being drawn and notified daily.  Ticket sales are still coming in.  Vickie is taking notes for next year changes/improvements.

        NEW BUSINESS
        Jordyn Kalagher Scholarship Fund
        We have donated $200.00 to the scholarship fund.

Father/Daughter Dance

      Dance is February 8th.  DJ and photographer are all set.  Looking for two set ups to shorten wait time for pictures.
      Invitations for the dance and flower orders have been printed and will be distributed next week.  Flowers for the dance this year, Valley florist made flowers for last year.  Paula will contact Valley Florist about flowers for this year’s dance.  Order extra flowers for table sales.

Mother Son Dance

      April 4th.  Volunteer list will be provided to Rachel.

Yearbook

      Donielle has offered to chair the yearbook again this year.  Cover has come back from G&B.   Student council is taking pictures; Candy has them on her computer.  Letter will be sent out soon to reserve add space for the yearbook.  5th grade questions and baby picture requests will be sent out soon.  Donielle is looking to set the price of this year’s book. 

Skating at Cushing

      Rink has been booked for Sunday, March 16th 11am – 1pm at Cushing.  We are not going to run a concession stand at this time.  Cushing will have their concession open.  Skate rentals available.  Flyer will go out. 

      Request for funds
      In order to make this year’s yearbook happen, we need to be able to get on the internet, utilizing high speed.  Last year it was very difficult because it requires the use of a pc.   It would be much easier if the PTA had a computer with adequate memory, internet access, etc so that more than one person has access in the event they have time to help with the yearbook.  PC could be utilized for yearbook, PTA flyers, etc.  Motion was made and seconded at Dec meeting to purchase laptop and equipment not to exceed $600.00.  Vickie has started looking for a PC but to purchase a pc with enough memory is coming in around $800.00.
