T is for Telescope

Definition: A device that lets you see things far away up close or far away.
A telescope is a device that lets you see things that are far away. You can see stars and the moon and sometimes you can see even see planets! The best way to see things in the telescope is at night. Because that’s when you can see stars and all the stuff. You should put your telescope by a window or on a roof. You should put it on a roof or by a window because you can see things better because you have more room, and there is more space. A telescope doesn’t really move. You have to move it on you own. You can turn it east, west, north and south. Most telescopes are pretty big. That’s why you need lots of space. The telescope was invented in Holland. Some people don’t know who invented the telescope. Some day maybe we’ll fine out!
