Grade 4 EIC Leaf Study

Once again, JRB students and teachers are participating in the Harvard Forest's Schoolyard Research Program. Grade 4 students are measuring and tracking leaf color change and leaf drop on the trees along the Briggs Nature Trail. Each student was assigned a tree behind the school. Students made predictions about their trees, then went out to the nature trail four to six times to observe their trees and collect data. Data collected by the students will contribute to a larger study on global warming. For more information, go to the Harvard Forest web site.
