Abigail Smith Adams is famous for her letters to the continental congress about how women should have full legal equality. She was born in Weymouth Massachusetts on November 11 1744 and died on October 1818. She was the first women to live in the White House. She was known to be a strong woman for how she expressed her strong opinions in her letters.
