School SafetyFor safety reasons, the main entrance will be locked at 3:45 p.m. We have a number of after-school activities occurring in our school. For your child’s safety, we are asking ALL after-school visitors to sign-in and enter through the Extended Day Entrance. FROM THE LIBRARY… We will be having a Fall Scholastic Book Fair in the Briggs Library from Tuesday, Nov.30 through Monday, Dec. 6th. The Book Fair will be open during the evenings of parent-teacher conferences (Dec. 1 & 2). We hope that many parents will be able to stop by before and after conferences. Proceeds from the Book Fair allow new resources to be added to the library As in the past, students will be given an opportunity to visit the Book Fair with their teacher. Also, a teacher “wish list” will be posted. This gives parents an opportunity to make a donation to their child’s classroom library. As always, parent volunteers are needed to work at the Book Fair. If you can help out, please call Lynne Pinsoneault in the library. Hope to see you there! 3rd Annual Holiday Poinsettia SaleThe Oakmont Booster Club is currently holding its annual poinsettia sale!
