Informed Consent and Release

I, the undersigned parent/legal guardian, hereby understand that Ashburnham Westminster Regional School District is utilizing the online services of Adobe Creative Cloud an online application owned and operated by Adobe Systems Inc., 345 Park Avenue, San Jose, CA  95110-2704, a set of applications that give subscribers access to graphic design, video editing, web development, photography and other tools. I also understand that as part of this activity my child will be providing his/her Name, Email Address, Etc. in order to use this online application.

I understand that to the extent that either I or my child are provided with or create a password for the use of this site, that my child and I can help protect against unauthorized access to my child’s account and personal information by appropriately protecting and limiting access to this password and appropriately logging off of the account when finished. I hereby acknowledge and agree that the Ashburnham Westminster Regional School Committee and Ashburnham Westminster Regional School District do not own or control Adobe Creative Cloud and any of my child’s works (name, image, likeness, spoken words, student work, performance, in any form, hereinafter collectively referred to as “Works”) that are posted on or through this website shall be managed and controlled by Adobe Systems Inc. in accordance with its privacy policy and terms of service. I further acknowledge that my child and I have read Adobe Creative Cloud’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy true copies which are linked to this informed consent and release.

By entering into this informed consent and release and granting the permission as stated herein, I am expressly authorizing my child to participate, use and submit Works for posting on Adobe Creative Cloud. I also am expressly authorizing the Ashburnham Westminster Regional School District to use, in whole or in part, my child’s Works in connection with Adobe Creative Cloud including without limitation, the posting of these Works on or through Adobe Creative Cloud. 

I further understand that neither the Ashburnham Westminster Regional School Committee and/or Ashburnham Westminster Regional School District and/or their respective officers, directors, agents and/or employees shall compensate either me or my child in connection with the posting of the Works on or through Adobe Creative Cloud.

By entering into this informed consent and release and granting the permission as stated herein, I also am releasing the Ashburnham Westminster Regional School Committee and/or Ashburnham Westminster Regional School District and their respective officers, directors, agents and/or employees from and against any and all liability, loss, damage, costs, claims and/or causes of action arising out of or related to my child’s Works being posted on or through Adobe Creative Cloud and/or for my child participating and using Adobe Creative Cloud.
